 EVtones™ SETS THE TONE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE SOUNDS
EV Sounds to Protect the Blind, Children, Pets and Pedestrians

 
ORLANDO, FL – Bran-Rae, a green concepts development and marketing company, today announced the creation of EVtones™, an download service providing unique sounds for Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Car sounds, motorcycle rumble, jet engine, musical tones (like ringtones) and many more tones will be available as downloads to an electric vehicles compatible tone generating system, music players and more. Electric vehicles will now be seen and heard. EVtones™ address safety concerns for the blind, children, bicyclists and pedestrians. 

Organizations representing the blind are lobbying governments to pass laws requiring that electric cars and trucks make sounds to warn sight impaired pedestrians of their approach. There is a bill now moving in the US Congress that will require Electric Vehicles to have a minimum level of sound. EVtones™ will have a special under tone audible only to those with the most acute hearing such as the blind to distinguish these sounds coming from EVs. Evtones™ also have an embedded sound similar to a dog whistle to ‘pre-alert’ Seeing Eye dogs. As an added benefit pet lovers across the world will feel a sense of security knowing that their pets are protected from oncoming, silent running electric vehicles. Vehicle insurance companies may give lower rates or also require that EVs have these sound producing systems.
