EVtones™ SETS THE TONE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE SOUNDS
EV Sounds to Protect the Blind, Children, Pets and Pedestrians

ORLANDO, FL – Bran-Rae, a green concepts development and marketing company, today announced the creation of EVtones™, an MP3 download service providing unique MP3 sounds for Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Car sounds, motorcycle rumble, jet engine, musical tones (like ringtones) and many more tones will be available as MP3 downloads to an electric vehicles MP3 compatible tone generating system, mp3 players and more. Electric vehicles will now be seen and heard. EVtones™ address safety concerns for the blind, children, bicyclists and pedestrians.

Organizations representing the blind are lobbying governments to pass laws requiring that electric cars and trucks make sounds to warn sight impaired pedestrians of their approach. There is a bill now moving in the US Congress that will require Electric Vehicles to have a minimum level of sound. EVtones™ will have a special under tone audible only to those with the most acute hearing such as the blind to distinguish these sounds coming from EVs. Evtones™ also have an embedded sound similar to a dog whistle to ‘pre-alert’ Seeing Eye dogs. As an added benefit pet lovers across the world will feel a sense of security knowing that their pets are protected from oncoming, silent running electric vehicles. Vehicle insurance companies may give lower rates or also require that EVs have these sound producing systems. As individuals and governments adopt EVs and look to comply with these new laws, EVtones™will be here to fill that need.

With the launch of EVtones™, Bran-Rae is creating an entire new industry within the EV and music world. When EVtones™ rolls out the music tones this will create an entire new licensing revenue stream for the Music industry. Bran-Rae is urging all electric vehicle manufacturers to make their sound producing devices EVtones™ - MP3 compatible. Intel's Atom chip designed for in-EV "infotainment", Microsoft’s Auto Software platform, along with other hardware and software technologies from around the globe make for perfect systems for EVtones™ downloads. “While we don't want Electric Vehicles to become noise polluters, EVtones™ makes the EV sound compliant as well as making them fun for all. With President Barack Obamas’ embrace of electric vehicles and his appeal to youth around the world they will be the first demanding their EVtones™. EVs don't need to be loud they just need to sound cool.” says Robert McDowell, CEO of Bran-Rae. EVtones™ will be to electric vehicles what ring tones are to cell phones and iTunes™ is to MP3 players. Evtones™ can soon be followed on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and other social and business networking sites.

EVtones™, an MP3 download service providing unique MP3 music tones and sounds for electric and electric hybrid vehicles will add a new source of income for the music industry worldwide. Along with the musical tones (like ring tones)  many more tones such as car sounds, motorcycle rumble, jet engine, will be available as MP3 downloads to an electric vehicles MP3 compatible tone generating system. Thousands of songs from across all genres will be added to the EVtones™ library of tones. EVtones™ contain special tones and frequencies to alert the blind and pets to oncoming electric and electric hybrid vehicles. These unique MP3 downloads will command a substantial premium and provide higher revenues to the music industry over current regular music MP3's.
